Stem Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Clinics in Las Vegas, NV
Nevada’s statute on these treatments is worth reading closely. State statutes let a licensed person give “nonembryonic cells,” including stem cells, when the mode of delivery is within that license, and they limit how state boards may regulate those activities. The same statutes also say they do not indicate the status of those activities under federal law. So a Las Vegas clinic can operate within Nevada rules while the product is still unapproved by FDA. The three practices below all describe your own tissue, and they differ mainly in the type of physician and how the cells are processed.

What Nevada’s Statute Does and Does Not Do
NRS 629.300 to 629.390, in the 2026 revision of the chapter, define nonembryonic cells to include stem cells and allow a licensed person to administer them if the mode of delivery is permitted under that license. They limit state and local regulation of those activities, though licensing boards still oversee licensees. NRS 629.350 is the sentence to remember: nothing in those sections “shall be construed to indicate the status of any of the activities authorized … as regards federal law.” Read that as a warning, not a reassurance. The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners handles MDs, and the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine handles DOs such as those named above.
FDA’s Answer on Own-Tissue Injections
FDA’s notice to consumers says regenerative therapies have not been approved for any orthopedic condition, including when cells come from your own body, and it lists possible harms from infection to tumors. The agency’s guidance says fat-derived products used for arthritis or tendinitis are generally not a homologous use, and that marrow stays outside its tissue rules only when minimally manipulated and used for its normal function. PRP counts as a blood product.
What the Research Shows
A Nature Medicine trial randomized 480 people with knee osteoarthritis (440 analyzed) to marrow, fat or cord tissue cells or cortisone, and no cell option did better at one year. The American College of Rheumatology’s 2026 recommendations strongly recommend against stem cell and PRP injections in the knee and hip. If you hear a success percentage in a consultation, ask whether it comes with a comparison group, and ask for it in writing with the total price.
We took clinic details from their websites in November 2026; check with the office before relying on them. These are not recommendations and the list has no ranking, and your own physician should advise on your care. FDA has received reports of blindness, tumors and infections from unapproved regenerative products.
