Stem Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Clinics in Jacksonville, FL

Listed

Jacksonville’s three practices are all orthopedic groups that offer biologic injections within wider care, rather than clinics built around them. That shapes the first question for a patient here. One names umbilical cord and placental tissue as a possible source of stem cells, while the others emphasize your own blood or marrow. Florida’s law makes a signed consent form a useful document to request before any unapproved stem cell treatment, and that form should tell you whether the product is FDA approved. For joint conditions, it is not.

Section 458.3245, Florida Statutes, says a physician performing stem cell therapy that FDA has not approved must obtain a signed consent form before treatment. The form must state that the treatment is not FDA approved, with its nature, expected results, recognized alternatives and risks. Physicians with an FDA investigational new drug approval, and those working for certain certified institutions, are exempt. Read it before the day of your procedure if you can. Osteopathic physicians fall under the matching section 459.0127.

FDA on Cord and Placental Tissue

FDA’s consumer notice lists umbilical cord blood, amniotic fluid and Wharton’s jelly among unapproved products, requires oversight in a clinical trial before approval, and says none has been approved for an orthopedic condition. The agency says products regulated as biologics need an approved license for lawful marketing. Your own marrow raises a different question under its guidance, and PRP is treated there as a blood product.

Results to Keep in Mind

A phase 3 trial of 480 randomized knee patients (440 analyzed) found marrow, fat and umbilical cord tissue cells no better than cortisone at a year. The American College of Rheumatology’s 2026 recommendations strongly recommend against PRP and stem cell injections in the knee and hip. Florida Board of Medicine and Board of Osteopathic Medicine records show a physician’s license and any public discipline. Compare with the Miami list if you are willing to travel.

Practice information was taken from their websites in November 2026 and may be out of date; verify by phone. Nothing here is an endorsement, a ranking or medical advice. FDA has received reports of blindness, tumors and infections from unapproved regenerative products.
